• The term “custom” generally denotes a product made to order as opposed to one that is uniformly produced by the thousands and stockpiled for sale.
• More importantly it also implies a wide latitude in design, careful attention to engineering details and a superior product.
• All of our custom hollow metal frames are manufactured from zinc coated steel and ready for finish painting. We also provide them in Stainless Steel and G90 (Z275) galvanized coated steel.
• We offer a complete line of fire ratings from U.L.C. and I.T.S.
• As shown below the variety of design is only limited to the architect’s imagination.

No matter what type of condition you are faced with on the job site, Metal Door is able to manufacture frames and or screens to suit all of your requirements.

Combined with our complete line of standard profile frames including masonry, drywall, double egress and thermal broken frames, Metal Door has the capability to manufacture virtually any custom profile that may be needed.

For sidelight, transom and borrowed light units, we fully manufacture them in our own shop.

For openings that need to be fire rated, Metal Door offers one of the most extensive and  comprehensive labeling programs in the industry, utilizing UL, ULC, ITS and WHI labeling procedures.

Two key features of all our frames are that they are brake formed which provides true bends and that all of our product is fully saw mitered. These two qualities mean that the frames and other units have true fitting components for accurate in-shop assembly.

All of Metal Door’s frames are made fully welded construction. Manufactured from paintable zinc, stainless or G90 (Z275) steel.
